Governance-OS is Three Sixty Governance’s online governance operating system, designed to help Governance Professionals, schools and Multi-Academy Trusts manage the behind-the-scenes work of effective governance.

Originally developed to support TSG’s own governance clients, Governance-OS brings together the information, processes and recurring tasks that underpin good governance – helping you work more efficiently and maintain clearer oversight throughout the year.

Think of it as your governance second brain: a practical system to hold information, prompt tasks and highlight what needs attention, so you don’t have to remember everything yourself.

Designed to work alongside your existing systems

Governance-OS isn’t another board portal.

Many schools and Trusts already use platforms such as GovernorHub or Governance Manager for board papers, meeting documents and governor access.

Governance-OS doesn’t replace these systems.

Instead, it provides an additional operational layer, helping you plan, track, monitor and report on the governance administration that happens behind the scenes.

How does Governance-OS work?

Governance-OS CORE is currently hosted within Monday.com and brings together five key elements:

Workspaces – dedicated areas for your school, Trust or governance boards.
Trackers – structured tools to manage meetings, governance compliance, board membership, policies, training, actions and more.
Dashboards – visual summaries providing an at-a-glance overview of key information, deadlines and priorities.
Forms – simple ways to collect governance information and confirmations, with responses feeding into relevant Trackers.
Automations – reminders and connected workflows that help reduce repetitive administration and keep tasks moving.

Together, these create a more joined-up approach to governance administration, reducing duplication and making important information easier to access and monitor.

Governance oversight across multiple boards and MATs

For Multi-Academy Trusts and Governance Professionals supporting several boards, Governance-OS offers the additional benefit of consistent systems and centralised oversight.

Information from individual governance boards can feed into local, Trust-wide and personalised Dashboards, giving governance teams, Chairs, Trustees and Trust leaders a clearer picture of compliance, membership, meetings, policies and priorities across the organisation.

This helps reduce duplication, identify emerging gaps and strengthen governance monitoring and reporting at both local and Trust level.

Introducing Governance-OS CORE

Governance-OS CORE is currently being trialled nationally through the TSG Members’ Club and our pilot scheme.

We’re working with Governance Professionals, schools and Trusts to develop and refine the system, ensuring it remains practical, flexible and responsive to the realities of governance administration.

Our team supports the initial set-up, including configuring Workspaces, populating agreed Trackers with existing information where possible, and helping users get started.

We’re particularly keen to work with those who want to streamline governance administration, improve oversight and help shape the future development of Governance-OS.
